I contacted Cleanup Guys regarding basement flooding that occurred two days after Christmas. Mike arrived the next day to provide an estimate immediately after the plumbing work was completed. His quote for mold and mildew mitigation was reasonable and came in slightly below my insurance adjuster’s estimate, which helped manage other damages. The crew began work two days later and operated with speed and professionalism. The restoration involved cutting away approximately a foot of drywall and insulation around the basement perimeter. They replaced all materials and installed baseboards that were an upgrade over the originals. Additionally, the paint matching was precise; the repairs are indistinguishable from the original walls. I am highly satisfied with the quality of work and will call them directly for any future repairs.

We moved into a house that floods about once a quarter. It's never terrible, a couple of inches of water about once a quarter. We have received estimates to get this permanently fixed but it's about tens of thousands and requires a small mote to be put around the house. So, this quarter we decided to have it professionally cleaned (concerned about mold damage) and I simply did a search for mold removal chicago or maybe it was water damage restoration chicago I don't specifically remember. Anyway, The CleanUP Guys showed up the next day and did a fantastic job with the basement cleaning services and mold remediation. I have to admit, the basement just smells better since we had the cleaning done professionally. I think we are going to get the mold removal services of The CleanUP Guys each time we have an issue from now on. P.S. Really awesome guys. Last weekend’s heavy rain caused our finished basement to backup with water. This was our first experience with having a major home problem and using our home insurance. I can not say enough good things about Sherm (owner) and his responsiveness and going above and beyond to help us out. The Clean Up Guys were the 3rd phone I made and not only did they answer they came out that day! Less than 24 hrs after all heck broke loose. Huge shout out to Julius and his Crew. He came in analyzed the situation and called for more of his crew to come. They worked hard and efficient. Our basement is clean, dry, and mold free. They constantly checked on us and we’re super professional and empathetic. We lost a lot and learned a hard lesson in insurance claims. Sherm and Julius exceeded the scope of what their job was and helped us in our time of need.

Responded very quickly to a sewage back up situation at my apartment and came same day for an evaluation and began cleanup/repair the very next day. They cleaned and ripped out all the floors in less than 8 hours work. Very responsive and professional. 10/10 highly recommend!
